Application
Produced using an innovative process, the ultra-slim hydro expansion chuck combines the advantages of an expansion chuck and a shrink-fit chuck in a single product.

Execution
  • Extremely high clamping forces
  • Extremely high temperature resistance (up to 120 °C) ensures that the chuck retains its accuracy
  • Slim shrink-fit chuck-style design makes it suitable for narrow interference contours
  • Excellent damping properties
  • Max. concentricity < 0.003 mm
  • Standard tool changes as with expansion chucks without requiring additional devices
  • Reducer bushings enable various applications
  • Balanced to G2.5/25,000 rpm
  • With Balluff chip hole

Advantage
  • Advantage of BT-FC (face contact) compared to BT standard tool holders
  • Highly precise tool change due to flat face on the collar. Increased rigidity and bending resistance
  • The planar contact face on the collar prevents slipping in axial direction at very high speeds. Higher VC minimises vibrations
  • Improved surface quality on the workpiece. Longer tool service life and reduced tool costs
