With this tool, the spiral changes from left to right, which leads to the axial cutting forces being compressed at a centred point. This allows delamination issues to be more effectively dealt with. HSC compression milling cutters are especially suitable for machining epoxy resin or polyester-based plastics with carbon or glass fibres.
