Application
Suitable for light brushing work such as deburring, cleaning and removing discolouration. In addition to brushes with stainless steel filament, PFERD also offers INOX-TOTAL brushes for machining stainless steel (INOX). These are especially suitable for use in highly critical areas.

• Machinable materials: Aluminium, bronze, stainless steel (INOX), highly heat-resistant materials, cobalt-based alloys, hard non-ferrous metals, nickel-based alloys (e.g. Inconell and Hasteloy), nickel- or titanium-based superalloys, titanium, titanium alloys, other non-ferrous metals, soft titanium alloys (tensile strength 500 N/mm²)
• Machining tasks: Removing discolouration, roughing, deburring, stripping paint, derusting, removing oxide layers, cleaning
• Drive types: Flexible shaft drives, drills, straight grinders

Advantage

• Maximum protection against corrosion as all components are produced from grade 1.4310 (V2A) stainless steel (INOX).

Recommendations for use: Please observe the recommended speed values.
Safety precautions: When clamping the brush, make sure that the shank is clamped as far into the mount as possible. This is especially important when using at high speeds. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
